Australian Hearing

AUSTRALIAN HEARING helps people with a hearing loss to get the most out of their hearing and still feel connected with the world.

How do we do this?
Australian Hearing offers hearing checks to everyone in the community, regardless of age, and can then help people make choices if they need extra help to hear.

Australian Hearing’s audiologists fit hearing aids or other devices which best suit a client’s lifestyle, and help identify hearing technology needs in the school and home.

There are more than 599 locations nationwide. It’s one of the largest and most comprehensive providers of hearing services in the world, and has played a vital role globally in hearing research over many years.

We can also help online
Whether enquiring for yourself or a loved one, Australian Hearing’s Hearing Help telephone and online service gives on-the-spot help to Australians over the phone or via tele-chat.

Established for the people
Australian Hearing was established by the Federal Government in 1947 to assist WWII veterans with ear damage and to help the large number of children born deaf following the rubella epidemic of the late 1940s.
